In life, sometimes you find yourself facing adversity in unexpected ways. Whether that be depression or anxiety, stress due to work or school, family conflict, life transitions, traumatic experiences, or prejudice, life can get complicated quickly, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
Fortunately, you do not have to face these struggles alone. As your therapist, I am here to offer you a non judgemental space where you can work through whatever struggles you are dealing with. As a person-centred psychotherapist, I believe in the autonomy and tenacity of my clients. You are the one who knows yourself and your needs the best. My job is to guide you along your journey while providing you with tools to help you manage the stresses of life.
In addition, as a transgender person and member of the LGBTQ2IA+ community, I know how difficult it can be to face life authentically. I promise to provide a safe, accepting space where your identities are not questioned or judged, but rather accepted and celebrated.
I am currently in the process of completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
