Psychotherapy Associate

I fell in love with my first introduction to psychology class in CEGEP. The more I learned about human behaviour and emotions, the more it helped me better understand myself and the world around me. This never-ending curiosity brought me to pursue a master’s degree in counseling at the university of Ottawa. With this training and my desire to help and connect with others, I want to support and work with anyone who is ready to work on themselves and create long-lasting life changes.

I provide psychotherapy from a compassionate and non-judgemental standpoint, creating a safe space for everyone to fully express their emotions. I hope to collaborate with you to help overcome any difficulty or presenting issue, whether it’s working on day-to-day symptoms or a deep dive into reprocessing childhood trauma. Through this collaboration, hopefully we can achieve better insight on the presenting problem, learn healthy coping strategies, develop healthy communication and work on the regulation of emotions.

My approach to counseling and psychotherapy is mainly person-centered, understanding that you are the expert of your own life. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model that speaks to me and that I will be using as a guide to our work together. I am also trained in Somatic Experiencing (Advanced level) as well as EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing).

Je suis bilingue et je peux offrir mes services en Français.
