Anxiety, depression, and relationship issues can sometimes feel insurmountable. I am here to give you hope that we can work together through these issues and move toward healthier functioning. I believe everyone is made up of different parts, and while none of those parts are bad, I want to help you attend to your internal experience which will lead you to self-validation, understanding, and self-acceptance. I understand how difficult it can be to express your feelings, deal with anxiety and depression on your own, and admit that you need assistance, and I want to commend you for taking the brave first step of seeking out help.
My commitment is to work with you non-judgementally and with an open mind to help you fully express yourself with vulnerability in a way that honours your unique story. I will approach you with unconditional positive regard through a person-centred lens while integrating somatic, mindfulness, trauma-informed, cognitive, and other techniques into our work. We will work together to determine the approach that is best suited to your needs. I work with adults of all ages, diverse cultural backgrounds, and am accepting of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship orientations.
I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, and I have completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and in addition am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
